Beautiful hard to find vintage 3pc WH Grindley 6.75" bread & butter plates in the Marechal Neil pattern. Crafted in England made of earthenware and ironstone, these bread plates are a lovely design in good vintage condition. These Flow Blue plates are the no gold detail style with cascades of deep cobalt blue flowers fill the surface of this lovely plate. Intricate raised scrolling along edging. Lovely scalloped rim.

The WH Grindley world logo mark was used between 1891-1914 is on both bowls. W.H. Grindley and Company was founded by William Harry Grindley in 1880 the Newfield Pottery, Tunstall, Stoke on Trent, England. The marking on the back rim show WH Grindley & Co, England with the letters F B on the bottom of the world mark. The ID # is 269030. Nice collection of history!

Plates are in great vintage condition! The usual pre-loved light utensil surface wear, crazing and 2 plates with multiple dings to rims here and there from years of adding flair to Betty's Sunday suppers, but nothing that distract from the treasures of elegant dining! We purchase from estate sales, individuals, flea markets and antique stores. We do our best to offer pristine inventory, in clean as a whistle condition for our buyers, however we do not wash fragile items, as not to damage any finishes which may mean that they could be dusty from years of storage.

We are also known for our pride in gorilla proof packaging (especially fragile items) and on occasion will use excellent condition recycled packing materials too. This helps keep our shipping prices lower and helps the environment for a win-win! Unfortunately with shipping it is all about location, so sometimes shipping from our east coast location to the west coast, the costs have risen significantly in recent years, so we are always open to utilizing various couriers other than standard postal service to help save money! If you purchase multiple items, we are always happy to combine orders to reduce shipping costs.
