About the item:

This trading card is from the 2007 DC Archives set and is part of the 'First Covers' subset, which came one in ever twelve packs (1:12 ratio).  It features the cover to the iconic Batman #1 from 1940, which introduced both the Joker and Catwoman.  Signed by legendary comic artists Jerry Robinson (1922-2011) and Sheldon Moldoff (1920-2012), the card is JSA authenticated and certified through CGC with a grade of 7 (Near Mint). Fresh from CGC, it will be shipped with the utmost care.

Of note, Jerry Robinson inked the cover to this issue and also designed its background.  For the interiors, Robinson inked and provided some pencils for the Joker stories (there were two stores in this issue featuring the Joker), specifically pencilling the Joker's playing card on the splash page).  He also lettered the story.  For both the Catwoman story and the Hugo Strange story, he inked and provided backgrounds as well as lettering them.  Sheldon Moldoff inked, provided backgrounds, and lettered the two-page origin ("The Legend of the Batman- Who He Is and How He Came to Be"), which were the first two interior pages of the book.
