Australian Aboriginal Dot Painting by Roy Link, 1989. Brisbane, Queensland, entitled "Two Barramundis".
A well known artist in his own right, with many acilades to his work. As well as being one of the first Australian Aboriginal people to represent their "dreams" this way. As it was only in the 1970's that the Australian government allowed the indiginous people to apply their tribes, "dreams" onto anything other than sand.

This particular painting description "The curved backbone shows that the fish are swimming. Barramundi are found in a wide range of environments from the fresh water billabongs to the brackish river mouths that empty into the ocean." Roy Link is from Brisbane, Queensland. He was artist in residence in Brisbane, Expo 88. He has exhibited in several galleries in Australia, most notably the Hogarth Gallery in Sydney. He has a international reputation with participation in exhibitions in Vancouver and Toronto as well as Doug Hatfields Cross Canada Team and has also exhibited in London England.

This is a painting done with plaka on stretched canvas. 24"H x 36"W. It has some slight cracking on painting and light water damage on back.  It can be shipped with or without the frame.
Included with this magnificent piece is a signed copy of declaration of originality by the artist along with a picture of the artist with his work.
Roy is a well known aboriginal Australian artist who exhibited his art work throughout the world. The 1988 Expo in Brisbane, Hogarth Gallery, Sydney as well as in London, Vancouver, Toronto and a cross Canadian tour with Doug Hatfield.
Paintings were purchased from highly regarded art collector and friend of the painter in the early 1990's.
