Writer, artist, and film director, Frank Miler is a member of the Eisner Awards Comic Book Hall of Fame, was named one of 50 Who Made DC Great, and has won numerous Kirby, Harvey, and Eisner awards. He is of course well-known for The Dark Knight Returns, but is also acclaimed for the his fan-favorite run on Daredevil, the creation of Elektra, the character-defining Wolverine Mini-Series from 1982, his creator owned Sin City and 300, as well as “Batman: Year One” and many more.

This variant cover features Klaus Janson's take on the classic scene from the original Dark Knight Returns as Batman and the new Robin, Carrie Kelley, leap into action.
