About the item:

From Supergirl #59 (August, 2001), this original art page features pencils by fan-favorite artist Leonard Kirk, with Robin Riggs inks and story by legendary comics scribe Peter David.  The title page of the issue, it features a disaster scene (and that is Supergirl being loaded into the ambulance (she was knocked unconscious by the blast that caused all the destruction).  Please note- this is an actual, original piece of artwork pencilled by hand by Kirk and inked by hand Riggs.  It is not a copy, print or pre-printed image, or bluelines.  It is a one-of-a-kind original!  The issue cover and the final, colorized page as it appears in the book are shown for reference.  But please note that the comic itself is not included in with the listing.  The listing is for the original artwork only. In excellent condition, it will be shipped with the utmost care. Measures approximately 17 by 21 inches (two 10 1/2 by 17 inch pages taped together - by the artist who created the piece - on its reverse side).

Certificate of Authenticity/Provenance:

Excepting pack-pulled autograph trading cards, CGC Signature Series, signed Sideshow prints, and like collectibles, all autographed items Vault Collectibles sells were personally witnessed, by myself, being signed by the writer, artist, or celebrity in question.  No third party is involved.  Further, art sketches - and most published original art I sell - were obtained directly from the artist themselves.
