These Ten Commandments are hand- carved from natural olive wood, in Bethlehem.

According to the Old Testament, the Ten Commandments were proclaimed by God on Mount Sinai, before the people of Israel in the third month after the Exodus from Egypt (Exodus 19: 1) and inscribed by him on the tablets of stone of the Testament (Exodus 31:18; Deut. 9:10).
