is the title of the Bing & Grondahl (B&G) 1997 Mother’s Day Plate, featuring a Mother Goose watching over her 5 baby goslings. Bing & Grondahl introduced the FIRST Mother’s Day plate in 1969, and it is still the most popular and longest running Mother’s Day series of all time! I have almost all of the B&G Mother’s Day plates in stock.  Please visit my Store or inquire for other years you want.

The scene is embossed on Danish porcelain and hand painted in traditional Copenhagen blue under the glaze. Diameter just under 6 inches (15 cm). Pierced foot for hanging wire. Appropriately marked on the back, including the three tower trademark of Bing & Grondahl.  Design by Allan Therkelsen.

EXCELLENT CONDITION (no chips, cracks, repairs or other defects), and FIRST QUALITY (no scratch through the trademark).  Bright spots are reflected glare, not damage.
