And the winter color is interesting and offers great possibility for contrast; as days shorten and grow colder the foliage darkens to deep battleship gray with a dusky purple overlay. Angelica Blue is wonderful all-the-year round.
Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. As a groundcover, space plants 5 to 7 ft. apart, (closer for faster coverage). Control weeds with mulch until the plants cover the area.
