Fading to the spine, else very good in full red cloth; in a very good (supplied) original dust jacket with light chipping to the spine ends, two short tears to the upper front panel (one with associated creases), and a tear and chip to the upper rear panel. Laid into this copy: An early author SIGNED (as Roald) inscription page: Dated May 1965 "with love xo from Pat & Roald" Pat, of course, was his first wife the actress Patricia Neal. This is a front endpaper that was evidently removed from a another book.
