The safety clasp works smoothly and holds tight. This is not signed as the jewelry is sold on cards with Joyce Fritz's name. She does her work in Green Bay, Wisconsin and I live about 120 miles from there. I have owned a number of Joyce's items and instantly knew it was by her.
