Pictorial folio and history behind the gifts to Cal Poly Pomona by W. K. Kellogg. In 1949 Kellogg gave his Arabian horse ranch to the university, then in 1973 provided funds to build the Arabian Horse Center. This book delves into the history, use of the gift by the school and all the ways in which the horse is an important aspect of sports, rodeo, working and enjoyment of equestrians. It explains the hallmarks of the breed and its versatility. Includes a glossary of terms, and Kellogg's history. Historic photos of the land, buildings and people, including celebs.

This magazine style brochure was produced by the Admissions Office of Cal Poly Pomona University. The book shows some signs of age and some minor soil, not dated, most likely the mid 1970s. Great pictorial history.

Firmly readable and collectible. Paperback : vintage soft cover edition in nice/good clean condition, a typical used book with some slight wear to edges and spine. As to be expected with used books, there may be some minor bumping, creases, and/or scuffs. Overall a good copy, excellent resource and reading enjoyment.

Clean and Unmarked Text. Good vintage condition. Text is in English.
