Rosemary, Rosmarinus officinalis, is primarily known as a culinary and medicinal herb, grown for its fragrant evergreen leaves and unusual flowers. Originally in the broad Mediterranean region, now the whole world is seen. It is used in sauces, soups and side dishes. It is usually used together with fish, roast meat and baked potatoes, as well as tomato-based dishes.
Indications of Rosemary:
For tiredness and fatigue, for gastrointestinal disorders, for bloody diarrhea, for inflammation and congestion in the bile ducts, for hair loss, for rheumatism. It also has an insecticidal effect, especially against moths.
How to use Rosemary:
Culinary purpose: add to cooked, baked or marinated dishes.
Medicinal purpose: pour 2 teaspoons of the herb with 250 ml of boiling water. After cooling, the infusion is filtered and drunk for 1 day. It can be used for gargles, compresses, etc. An alcohol or oil extract is also applied to lubricate the diseased joints in rheumatism (1 part herb: 5 parts alcohol or olive oil for 7 days in the dark).
