Vintage 1973 Dana Brown Private Brands Safari Coffee Can 2 lb with artwork by  artist Marge Optiz Burridge, prolific Michigan artist who illustrated many children's books, now deceased.  Artwork on this can are Cheetah, Zebra, and Cape Buffalo.   Size 6.5" tall x 5" across.

A little history: Dana Brown was owned Manhattan Coffee Co. and went on many safaris to Africa & India.  Nestle bought Manhattan, didn't like his traveling so he quit and started Safari Coffee Dana Brown Private Brand located in St Louis, MO.  He documented his travels, made commercials for St. Louis TV and you can still see some of his exploits on YouTube.
