Provenance Information:

Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in DeGrazia. This is a reproduction print of DeGrazia’s “Picing.” This is the title written on the back of the original. However DeGrazia was a horrible speller and I wonder if he actually meant to write Piercing? We will never know. But this image is called “Picing,” it is from DeGrazia’s Bullfight series, and the original is here hanging in the gallery. We no longer sell this image as a print in our gift shop which is possibly why you can’t find it online.

The print you have came with the original signature from the original oil painting on the bottom right of the print. Whoever purchased this print had DeGrazia hand-autograph their print while they were here at the gallery with him. That is why there are 2 signatures – one is part of the reproduction print, and one is his autograph when he was here at the gallery signing gift shop purchases. That 1/1 is actually a saguaro cactus that he would often scrawl as part of his signature. It is not 1/1.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you,
