If you can remove 1 screw, drill 2 holes in plastic, use zip ties, tighten 3 screws, cut wire and strip it 3/8" you can fix your sliding door lock.

Video shows how this is installed.  Detailed wiring instructions included based on US 2013 model.  With 9 months and nobody offering feedback on wiring differences all models must be the same.  This fits 2008 and newer Chrysler Town and Country, Dodge Grand Caravans and the VW Routan.

Easy Fix Sliding Door Lock Dodge Caravan Chrysler Town Country 2008 and up. Condition is "New".

This will fix your power lock problem quickly.  Most feedback has been about an hour start to finish.

Normal install of OEM part is between 3 and 8 hours of work,

This kit requires the manual lock to be working.  If the actuator seized up and the lock cannot be moved try opening up the door panel and put some force on the linkage rod with a pliers or channel locks, same direction the manual lock would be pushing/pulling it while pushing the lock/unlock button.  If you get it to move freely this kit will stop the overtravel where it jams on the original actuator by disconnecting that motor.  These vans have some logic to not allow the power locks to be pressed 20+ times in a few minutes.  It will eventually only flash the lights and not move the locks for a few minutes.  Chrysler most likely programmed it like this 1) to not overheat the lock motors, 2) minimize warranty claims before 36,000 miles, 3) not drain the battery.  I find it concerning that unlock won't attempt to move locks even after 10 seconds of no buttons pressed.
