Quite simply a superb antique photograph showing House Movers of P.Muth & Sons of Columbus,Ohio. This is the earliest known photograph of this firm picturing Peter Muth and his sons Eugene and Jerome Muth. In 1892, Peter allowed his sons Eugene and Jerome to take over the daily operations of the business.
Can you imagine how back- breaking this business was moving heavy Victorian furniture in these typical gothic two- story and an attic houses?
