Good or better antiquarian condition. Linseed oil soaked canvas wraps and pages with bright detailed lithographs of particularly cute and expressive animals in various childlike adventures. Some soil on the front wrapper, light marginal toning. Some bends and curling. 

The book has been re-issued several times by Whitman, this appears to be the first printing.
