This antique charger plate, made by Mason's Patent Ironstone in England during the Victorian era, features a lovely Imari pattern with a multicolor design and a printed backstamp. The round plate, measuring 12" in diameter, depicts a fence vase and doves that add to its decorative appeal. This pattern typically dates to the 1920-1840 Pieper, but the inclusion of the word England in the printed mark suggests an 1891 to 1918 date.
The plate is made of ironstone decorate in rich cobalt blue, orange rust and gold decoration, and is perfect for adult use in decorative cookware, dinnerware, and serveware settings. It is an original piece, vintage and antique in nature, with no licensed reproductions available. The plate requires hand wash only as per care instructions, and the production technique used is pottery.
The plate measures slightly larger than 12" diameter. Pre-owned, good condition, there is a light line visible on the back of the piece that does not show on the front side. Please view all photos.
