Described as Glee meets Game of Thrones, acclaimed storyteller Dan Jolley's LARP! (which stands for Live Action Role Playing) tells the tale of lifelong nerd Pete Ford's two lives. In one, he's a cool kid on the tennis team, and in the other he's Lord Blackmane in the South Haven Action Roleplaying Club. Full of action, humor and adventure- the story is filled with all sorts of references every geek will get. This particular page features role players in full cosplay mode with Stormtroopers (the story was actually pitched as Dark Horse's last 'sort of' Star Wars story). The helmet the Stormtrooper presents is supposed to be autographed by the cast of Star Wars, hence the awe and kneeling before it by the LARP's. The second image is original art created to be photoshopped into the page to depict a line of Stormtroopers (in the center panel). This listing includes both pieces of art! Featuring the artwork of Marlin Shoop (penciller and inker) the full page measures approximately 11 by 17 inches and the other piece with the individual Stormtrooper seen from behind measures 9 by 12 inches, both are in excellent condition and will be shipped with the utmost care. Both are also signed by Shoop. Please note- both are actual, original pieces of art illustrated by hand by Shoop. They are not copies, prints or pre-printed images. They are one-of-a-kind originals! The cover to the comic is shown for reference but it is not included in with the listing. The listing is for the original artwork only.
