Antique (likely 1870s) studio tintype photograph of two young women / older girls (teens?). 

They are standing, facing each other. One wears a polka dot dress and dark bonnet. The other is wearing a plaid bustle skirt, dark shirtwaist and dark hat.

Both appear to be Caucasian.

It looks like a backdrop hangs in the background, and they are standing on an elevated platform. The table they rest their arms on has tassels for adornment.

CONDITION: The lefthand top and bottom corners have been cut at an angle. There are scratches and wear on the photo.
