FULL 50-coin roll of 1943 Steel Wheat Cents. Unsearched with Possibility for all three mints (P, D & S) inside these unusual and unique cent rolls.
These 1943 Wartime cents are rare and becoming harder to find.
During WWII there was a shortage of copper in the US because it was all needed to make ammunition. Because of this in 1943 the US mint stopped making pennies of their normal composition and started making them out of solid steel. They only did this for one years and therefore these have become very hard to find. They are really cool looking and a great educational tool or conversation starter. You will receive three steel cents, one from each of the Philadelphia (No Mint Mark), Denver (D Mint Mark), and San Francisco (S Mint Mark) mints. These are authentic United States coins, not reproductions or restrikes.
