George Forrest and J. A. Snyder are listed under retail liquor dealers in Morningstar, Nevada (1913 Google Books Appendix Directory). The towns of Morning Star and Ludwig are very close. The post office opened in 1907 but later the town was renamed Ludwig. There are two tokens known from the town, both from this saloon. One is a very rare aluminum variety, this one being more obtainable but very collectible because it's a saloon token.
The token is made of brass and measures 24mm in diameter.
