Up for sale is a 1908 Weaverville, California CA Henry J. Young Confectionery Soda 25 Trade Token

Henry Junkins Young was born in Weaverville in 1880. The 1900 census shows he was a “day laborer” and living with his parents.  Henry Young bought the Nonpareil Candy and Novelty store in 1908. In 1918 he added a soda fountain. The 1910, 1920, 1930 and 1940 Weaverville Census records show he owned a candy store. He died in 1949 (Token Catalog).

The token is made of aluminum and measures 24mm in diameter.
