An original liqueur produced since the fifteenth century by Carthusian monks, the Certosa or Chartreuse from Grenoble, its place of origin, spread over time to other monasteries in the Western Alps. The Shrine of St. Giovanni of Andorno in the Cervo Valley held the recipe, obtaining a fragrant, sweet and aromatic liqueur. Giovanni Rapa, founder of the Liqueur Company, starting from this ancient recipe created this wonderful liqueur, which is still faithfully produced, with undiminished passion and art.
