AE4 / BI Nummus. c. 1.80gm 15mm  Antioch Mint, 5th Officina, Struck c. Sept 337 - Spring 347 AD.


Obverse: CONSTANTIVS AVG, Constantius II laureate, draped, cuirassed bust right seen frontally.

Reverse: GLORIA EXERCITVS ([The] Glory of the Army, in Latin), Two soldiers helmeted, each holding spear and grounded shield, standing with one military standard between--standard features two round badges and topped with a large banner with a circle; mintmark SMANЄ (Sacra Moneta Antioch Є [Epsilon='5th' Officina]) in exergue.

Condition: NGC Graded Ch XF  (Choice Extremely Fine!), Attractive glossy black olive patina~much nicer in hand!
