.....These 5 Reader's Digests are not new, but are in great shape. Look at all the photos for any reference  to problems I am about to write below.

.....The cover of each is scraped, scratched, and dented in places. The pages are slightly yellowed, and smell musky. There are a few bent pages, too. The binding seems to be holding together well for soft cover books made 57 years ago. I haven't seen any markings inside besides a couple age marks.
