These Utility Compression Porch Springs by Prime-Line Products are constructed of .148 ga. diameter spring steel and come in a corrosion-resistant, nickel-plated finish. They are commonly used to support hanging porch swings and allow for easy swinging. If installing a porch swing for the first time, a good pair of heavy-duty hooks or eyebolts will be required, depending upon what material they will hang from. These springs replace worn and missing porch swing springs and they are rated with a maximum safe load of 352 pounds each.
