About The Record:

Pomp and Circumstance: Symphonic Marches, by Leonard Bernstein, is a collection of non-military marches. The march is usually associated with the military but there is another kind of pomp and circumstance - those majestic moments when a procession of notables is made even more impressive by great music. For this collection of great symphonic marches, Bernstein aims the big guns of his unequalled musical arsenal at eight such masterpieces. The result is some spirit-stirring pomp and circumstance!
