There is a little bit of damage at the top of one boot. See close up photos for assessment. 

I'm assuming these are 1970s 1980s era boots...They are plastic but have a little bit of squishiness to them..so it's NOT a FIRM plastic.. but they are not super squishy like the rubber ones from that era.
