Gorgeous Mid Century Modern Estate Find! This Green Glass Ashtray with Brass Monogram is reminiscent of the Hyde Park ashtrays with the same type of lettering. (Old English) However I cannot find any instance where this type of ashtray was made for Hyde Park Gifts- most of them were ceramic produced by another company. The letter is an Old English B and the ashtray is in excellent condition.Measures approx. 8” x 1 ¾” thick – deep enough for cigars and pipes as well as cigarettes (See photos as measurements listed are estimates.). Weighs approx 4 pounds. The glass is in great condition. No chips or defects. The brass monogrammed knob does show some corrosion / wear.
