San Diego Padres vs. San Diego State Aztecs 4-5-1985 Ticket Stub.  Preseason exhibition game played at Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego.

Game ended in a 0-0 tie after ten innings.

If the Aztec locker room scene was any indication, it was a scoreless win for the Aztecs.

San Diego State Aztecs starting pitcher Rusty Elsberry shut out the Padres on two hits over nine innings with four strikeouts.  He retired the final 17 batters he faced in what he said was the best game he's ever pitched.

The only Padre hits came on singles by Terry Kennedy and Tony Gwynn.

Aztec first baseman Mark Grace went 3 for 5.

LaMarr Hoyt, Luis DeLeon, Greg Booker, Craig Lefferts, Goose Gossage and Tim Stoddard all pitched scoreless innings for the Padres.

Ticket Stub measures 5.5 inches in length and two inches in height.  In good condition.  Seat number may vary.
