The Pi Beta Phi Settlement School was established in 1912 by the Pi Beta Phi women's fraternity in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Its mission was to provide education, vocational training, and healthcare to the local Appalachian community. The school played a significant role in preserving regional crafts, leading to the creation of Arrowcraft, a cottage industry for local artisans. Over time, the institution evolved into the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, which continues to offer arts and crafts education today.

Shipping Policy
Due to ever increasing postage costs, shipping is charged separately rather than hidden in the item's price. This method is more equitable, allowing customers closer in proximity to benefit from reduced shipping costs. For orders with multiple items, I'm happy to offer combined shipping (which can further save on shipping expenses). Returns are accepted, provided the item is returned in the same condition it was received.
