Sign is unused, but listed as used because the box shows wear and because it was removed from the box to test it for this listing. The box states that it takes 4 AA batteries, but it did not state whether the batteries came pre-installed. As a seller I've had a few bad experiences selling items that were factory sealed with batteries pre-installed and my buyers opened the package to discover corroded batteries. The sign DID NOT come with batteries and all terminals are in new condition and working as indicated by the photos in this listing.

The cardboard face of the sign does have some light scratches and bubbles due to thin cardboard being glued to the sign face.

Rope light is a brilliant red. The photos in this listing do not do it justice. All photos in this listing were taken of the sign before it was returned to the packaging (not stock photos).

Works on 4 AA batteries (not included), or a USB cord with wall adapter (included). Activated with a simple on/off switch along the side of the sign.
