This is a vintage 1940s smoking jacket made by Caulfeild of Toronto. The piece is made of maroon wool with red and blue plaid patterning and roped trim. It has a shawl collar, turned cuffs and does up with a roped closure at the front. There is a patch pocket at either side and at the left chest, all trimmed in the blue and red plaid and roping. It is unlined.
