Vintage Imported Oriental Asian Satsuma Moriage Large 24" Hand Painted Floor Table Vase Birds & Floral Design
This MASSIVE vintage Asian vase showcases the Satsuma Moriage style, with intricate hand-painted designs of colorful birds and floral patterns in vibrant multi-color tones.

Age and exact origin is unknown.
This vase is a stunning example of Asian antique artistry, particularly from Japan. The intricate Moriage technique adds textured details to the piece, making it a visually captivating addition to any decor. While definitely Asian in origin, I can not be certain, if it comes from China or Japan, as China is known for reproducing these type of pieces.
GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION ~ There are no nicks, chips, cracks, flea bites, or damage of that sort. It is dirty on the interior, and there looks like there was some sort of top glaze at one time on the interior neck and inner rim. This is partially worn off, and can most likely be mostly, if not all, removed with a good scrubbing. I have not tried, as I didn't want to risk damage. This is reflected in the price.
Standing at 24 inches tall with a top diameter of 9.75 inches, this large vase is suitable for use as a floor or entryway table centerpiece.
It is heavy - weighing 14 lbs prior to packaging! It will be very carefully packaged to help insure it's safe arrival to you.
