A comics fan since childhood, Szerdy's love of comics led to a professional career as an illustrator. His work has appeared in numerous children's books, album covers, and original art sketch cards for DC Comics, The Walking Dead, Adventure Time, and Rick and Morty, including variant covers for Danger Girl, Zombie Tramp, and Batman/The Maxx: Arkham Dreams. A noted pinup artist, his work has also appeared in newspapers, 3-D animation, science museums, murals, and merchandise. He's also published his own graphic novel, Lola and the 11 Secrets. The autograph and/or sketch on this particular item was obtained directly from the artist, writher, or celebrity in question by Szerdy. Some were obtained by mail, most were obtained at various comic conventions Szerdy attended during the early 1990's to the present.
