This Sideshow Exclusive version of the Prime 1 Studio Batman The Dark Knight Returns statue includes a switchable 'Calm Portrait' and a switchable left hand with multiple batarangs (available only in this exclusive edition). it is #157 of only 800 produced. Never displayed, it has been opened only to allow for the signing by Frank Miller (on the batarang at the end of the batroap and visible in images two and three). Miller, of course, revolutionized Batman with the release of The Dark Knight Returns and the series forever changed the direction of the comics industry itself. The figure stands approximately 33 inches high. Please note- the signature is real. It is the actual, hand-signed signature of Frank Miller. It was signed by Mr. Miller at his 2018 Baltimore Comic Con appearance.
Figure is so large it comes in two boxes and will be shipped in its original brown shipping boxes from Sideshow. Figure will be fully insured but is sold as is. The box not containing the autographed batarang was never opened. I am not aware of any, but, as it is long sold out from Sideshow, any manufacturing defects, shipping damage, etc. for any portion of this statue is the responsibility of the buyer. No refunds, exchanges, or returns.
