Compact in size, built with a powerhouse of features, the Raymarine Ray53 is a fully functional 25 watt VHF radio with DSC and a 72 channel, built-in GPS receiver. The Ray53 includes a dedicated channel (Channel 70) for monitoring all Distress calls and allows you to program your MMSI number into the Ray53 providing you the safety and peace of mind knowing your boats information and position will be relayed to all other vessels in your area in the event a distress call has to be made.
Supporting Seatalk NG connectivity, the Raymarine 53 VHF radio can be connected to a variety of other onboard electronics making installation and networking easier than ever, however, the Ray 53 is not compatible with the Raymarine A-Series and C-Series MFD’s. Each Ray53 VHF radio also comes with a standard trunnion mounting kit along with a surface mounting kit and offers a new design complementing some of Raymarine’s newer MFD’s such as the Axiom series.
Compatible with an optional remote speaker, (A80542) Passive Speaker Accessory, you can now receive audio at a second location away from the VHF Ray53 making for a more versatile setup on your vessel. An included connection point to add an external GPS receiver to the Ray53 improves GPS reception should this VHF be mounted in a metal enclosure, pilothouse, or below deck. Make the Raymarine Ray53 VHF radio your vessels main communication source and you won’t be let down!
