A vintage mid-century hand-hammered copper turtle brooch was made by "Orb," which stands for Otto Robert Baden. Baden was formerly the plant foreman for Rebajes (a copper jewelry maker). He formed Orb in 1958, and two years later, he bought Rebajes.

The turtle is made in a modernist style and has a lovely dark patina. it is 3-dimensional.

Age: Probably around the 1950s-1960s

Fastener: Rotating safety clasp in good working order.

Marks: "Orb / HANDWROUGHT" stamped on the backside.
