A gorgeous vintage 1930s evening gown in jet black Chantilly lace would work for a Downton Abbey look. It is a beautiful Chantilly lace gown that unfortunately does not have a lining or slip but it is easy to get a modern replacement.Black works, but a lighter color would show off the amazing lace!
The skirt is somewhat fluted and flares from the hip. The collar falls from the V in a fluid drape.
The dress has tapered sleeves with 6 tiny lace covered buttons and loops to close the cuff and a somewhat deep V front neckline. The beautiful vintage gown is a pullover style, with no openings so keep that in mind when sizing.
Measurements:
Bust: 44-46” ( theres a little stretch due to bias cut)
Waist:38"
Hips: 50”
Shoulder: 17”
Total Length: 57”
Wearable condition, with a hole in the elbow of one sleeve and the underarms, will need reinforcing. I didn't find any other holes when looking it over.
