Signed Antique VTG Italian Filigree Sterling Floral Cattails Brooch Almost 3"
Beautiful filigree floral brooch with what looks like cattails at the top. It is made from .925 sterling silver ( marked).
Filigree or wire work, describes the delicate shaping of wire into intricate shapes, usually flowers, leaves and scrolls. This magnificent piece is stamped with a “G” and a spray above it- I don’t know if this is the signature of the artist, but most likely…..and “Italy .925”. Almost 3” long, in perfect condition.
