Book is in rough condition and shows substantial wear. See photos. Unsure of age but appears to be late 1800's. Does smell very musty. See photos for assessment. The 4th photo shows damage to the inner edges of pages. 

However this is a rare book of great photographs and could be restored by someone who knows what they are doing.
