1914 Death Announcement Peter Bohlender Founder of Spring Hill Nursery Tipp City

Pre-owned and displayed. See photos for assessment and measurements. It's the largest death announcement I have seen. It does show wear.
Who is Peter Bohlender: He founded the well-known Spring Hill Nurseries in 1849. Originally from Bavaria, he emigrated to Ohio, where he developed an interest in horticulture from a young age, having worked for a local nursery before starting his own. He initially opened Bohlender's Nursery in North Dayton, Ohio. Later, in 1889, he relocated the nursery to Tipp City and renamed it "Spring Hill Nurseries," inspired by a nearby hill. Over the years, Spring Hill evolved from a wholesale nursery to a popular mail-order gardening business in the 1930s, known for delivering plants across the U.S. through catalog sales, a model that is still in place today.
