Royal Copenhagen Annual Christmas figurine of Susanne -- a young girl pulling a sled loaded with Christmas presents. Produced for only one year – 2003. This figurine bears the Royal Copenhagen marks, including the three wavy blue line trademark of Royal Copenhagen, and the figurine number 082 (full Royal Copenhagen item # 1249 082). Retail price in 2003 was $60.
Nicely detailed in the venerable Royal Copenhagen tradition; hand painted under the glaze. Just under 5 inches tall (about 12.5 cm). Discontinued in 2003, and sold out at the factory years ago, but I still have a few that have been sitting in storage since then. Designed by Sven Vestergaard.
EXCELLENT CONDITION (no chips, cracks, or repairs) and FIRST QUALITY (no scratch through trademark). New in box; box shows minor shelf wear, now 20 years old.
