This listing is for a vintage Ohio Republican Smokey Black Political Ashtray.  This was for an event held in Dayton, Ohio on May 16, 1968 at Wampler's Arena (Hara Arena later). The GOP elephant's body looks like a tomato with green leaves on top, also includes then Governor of Ohio, James Rhodes, and Governor of Florida, Claude R. Kirk Jr.  Measures approx. 4 3/4" x 7", no cracks or chips, excellent condition.
