Vintage GM SSPP Highway Shield Sign 50 Lapel Pin Tie Tack

Appears to be handcrafted. A diamond shaped silver colored piece has GM and attached is a highway shield sign with blue on top SSPP and white on bottom "50". The two pieces are attached by a metal silver colored chain. Measures 2.75" in length total. The pins measure 1/2" a piece. please see photos.
