Hinoki
<Features>
A wood representative of Kiso, which is counted as the top of the five Kiso trees.
The world's best coniferous wood.
The annual rings are somewhat indistinct and pale yellowish brown to pale pink.
The wood has a fine grain and a good fragrance.
It has been used as a building material since ancient times because it remains strong for hundreds of years even after being felled, and has a high preservability.
It is used in many shrines and temples such as Horyuji Temple.
Among them, Kiso cypress is especially used for the shrine of Ise Grand Shrine,
which is rebuilt every 20 years (Shikinen Sengu), and is considered to be the best building material.

<Producing area>
A species unique to Japan, distributed from central Honshu through Shikoku and Kyushu to Yakushima.

<Application>
It is mainly used for high-end construction, and is also used for bathtubs due to
its unique fragrance and water resistance.
In addition, Kiso cypress hats are made by thinly shaving them and weaving them into wickerwork,
and because of their lightness and moderate hardness, they are used in a wide range of applications,
from buildings to small items such as chopsticks.
It is also used in Horyuji Temple, the world's oldest wooden building,
as well as numerous shrines and temples.

<Converter suction method>
Remove the barrel and insert the converter straight into the section.
Turn the knob to the left, lower the internal piston,
and immerse the nib in ink up to the section.
While turning to the right, draw in ink by suction.
After suction is complete, wipe the nib clean before use.

<Cartridge installation method>
Remove the barrel of the fountain pen, point the nib upwards,
and insert the cartridge straight without twisting.
After installation, wait for the ink to reach the nib and perform a test write.
Note that ink cartridges are not included due to import regulations.
Please choose DAYACOM or European type cartridges accordingly.
