Condition Description:
VG, pre-owned condition. Play tested (AT LP1240). All used records have some type of flaw(s), whether they are visible inaudible/audible scuffs, scratches, or fingerprints and possibly background noise of varying degrees. This record has some surface scuffing and a few light scratches. There is also a large scratch as shown in photos. Sound is very good with no skips (with my setup) and plays with little background noise and a few pops and clicks.

Inner Sleeve:
New 10" rounded bottom poly sleeve

In most cases these are very old shellac (pre 1950) records so please be aware that some records may not be completely flat but will be playable in regard to warp.

All 78s will be shipped inside a plastic inner sleeve. There may be cases where some records are too large to fit the appropriate sleeve so we will use the next larger sized sleeve we have (10"-12"). In the case of book sets, the records will not have plastic sleeves added around them, rather they will be put inside the sleeves in the book.

PLEASE BE SURE TO READ BELOW TO UNDERSTAND HOW WE GRADE
I do the best I can in sampling each record for quality of sound. Unfortunately I cannot listen to every
one all the way through but I do select a section of the album that appears to be the worst and make
a judgement from that. That's not to say that it will be the worst quality of sound, but it will physically
look like it should be.

Please note that we are not a grading nor record collecting professionals. We use our best judgement using the grading system shown below. Please refer to the photos of each item to see the condition for yourself and ask questions if you have any.
As an example; if there is an item that somebody might grade with a + or ++, we will give it the same grading, removing the +'s. ie. "VG++" becomes "VG" according to our system.

Here are the general grading rules we use. Again, no + conditions will be applied:

Mint - Sealed, assumingly a perfect record inside the sleeve.

Excellent  (EX) - The record shows some signs of having been played but there is no deterioration of sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and an occasional light scuff and/or scratch.

Very Good (VG) - The record has obviously been played many times and has mild scuffs and/or scratches and displays lessening of sound quality.

Good
(G) - The record has been played so much the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated perhaps with some distortion and scratches.

Fair
(F) - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump.

Poor
(P) - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc.

Bad
(B)- The record is unplayable and might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler.

eBay's item specifics grading categories will be used in this way:
Recording Grading - The condition of the vinyl
Sleeve Grading - On an LP it's the main outer sleeve. For a 45 it will be the paper sleeve.
Inlay condition - This will be used for items that originally came inside the album; pictures, stickers, literature..etc.

We do not mind taking specific photos based on your request. We'll do our absolute best to make sure you are happy with your purchase. Thank you!

We try to describe each item as exact as possible.  These items come from a smoke-free environment. Questions are always welcome.
