WYANDOTTE - BUTTON BAND

Early American Pressed Glass Compote by

Ripley n Co - Intro 1887

Very, very nice condition

Clear and sparkly with leaf and berry etched pattern at the uppermost rim

Raised dots with sunken centers create the first button band

The dropped petticoat rim also has sunken dots embedded in the downward points of the

lined rim

The stem "knob" is filled again with the raised dot pattern and the base

has dots and a "ripple" impressed that echo the pattern of the petticoat rim

Great patten with details often overlooked

***NOTE***

This comport came to me with a "married" lid, it is not original to the piece for sale but it fits nice

There are pictures of the lid and if you DO NOT WANT it, please me email thru

before you purchase - it will not make any difference on the price or shipping costs - Thanks!

Condition:

Fine pre-owned condition without any chips, nicks. Very slight markings in bottom of bowl that are hard to see.

As with some pieces of EAPG, there may be some chips to the edges or underside. If they are readily seen, I will point them out or picture them for your review.
