My child transitioned to a bed relatively easily, so we ended up not needing to use the bedrail. The dimensions say 59in x 19.5in installed. It fits all mattress lengths, but for extra thin mattresses (less than 15cm, it says) or extra deep mattresses (over 12 to 13 inches), you may have to buy something else.
